Hong Kong art collective CYRCLE storms skyscrapers

Written in white letters, the injunction “Rise above!” could well be the title of the huge mural covering one of the biggest “public walls” in Hong Kong – a building façade converted into a giant climbing wall.

Equipped with climbing harnesses and loaded with spray-paint on their backs, the collective CYRCLE team of Los Angeles rappelled down the fourteen floors of this tower situated in Sai Wan Ho (West part of the Island) while drawing a young boy flying in a balloon. Situated in the heart of the neighborhood, the fresco is a landmark for the Youth Outreach entrance, an agency helping with social reintegration of Hong Kong adolescents in need.
