Singaporean City pilots New French digital technology

Located west of the Singaporean metropolis, the city of Jurong East recently became the laboratory for analysis and testing of a new French digital technology, which aims to collect data on an urban area (geographical features, energy consumption, etc.) from which to build an appropriate plan for ecological rehabilitation.

These innovative technologies are all the more important in Asia, as the region’s cities are now facing unprecedented environmental challenges: demographic pressure, air, water and soil pollution, lack of infrastructures, congested transportation networks… The challenge is to convert the existing buildings into eco-friendly constructions.
