Beijing: A Seventh Ring Road to Enhance Integration with Hebei

[Not a valid template]

Gao Jinhao, the director of Hebei’s Transport Department, announced last June 25th the project to construct a seventh ring road around Beijing. The 940 km long road will link several major Hebei cities such as Langfang, Zhangjiakou and Chengde. It should be completed at the end of 2015.

This project is made in the context of a larger program of development of the transport network between Hebei and the capital, following the new impetus given in February by Xi Jinping to construct a Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei conurbation, on the model of the Pearl River Delta one in Guangzhou.
