In this site where the construction height is limited to 35 meters, the architects transposed the vertical dimension of a skyscraper horizontally by designing a long building and elevating it above the ground. The construction, head office of the biggest Chinese real estate developer, hosts various functions from business to housing and is elegantly integrated into the special landscape of the bay that it faces. In addition to these aspects, the Horizontal Skyscraper is one of the first buildings of Southern China that has been granted the LEED platinum certification.
