Given its large scale, this project operates like a city within the city. The whole concept aims to increase social interaction through porous design that connects the eight buildings. It includes public spaces with multi-functional areas, mixing commercial, educational, recreational and residential layers. The complex is equipped with a geothermal heating and cooling system which significantly reduces energy consumption compared to classical projects. In 2011, it was awarded the international green LEED certification.
