Not far from a section of the Great Wall, a set of villas designed by twelve Asian architects was built by real estate developer SOHO China. SOHO was one of the first commercial companies in China to promote contemporary architecture, working with local and international agencies. Amongst the villas are some hotels with suites and a variety of facilities. A new development phase was achieved recently in a canyon nearby.
