Reconversion of an industrial area into a creative industry and arts center

This former factory has been reconverted into a centre for creative industries. In fact, an art centre has been created on the site, composed of artists’ studios and residences, shared working space as well as exhibition spaces, and various shops and cafés. Whilst safeguarding the previous ambience and local way of life, it also hosts international exhibitions such as the Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism & Architecture.
